Everything will naturally be delegated to the moon’s eyes,. maybe on Thursday evening if we
will see the moon, perhaps it is possible,
maybe the moon will continue to veil itself behind the old door’s anta, or on a balcony behind a
curtain, to be courted for the whole night, about by gypsy notes or on the tail of fantastic words of actors, minstrels,
clowns, who dwell from sunset till dawn in the winding alleys of Carani. For the
second time "Lunarte festival",
sponsored by the municipal administration of Carinola, will seek to transform places,
people and merge them together in a single light, that of the moon, to shine at night
in summer, to savour the joys of them until the end, lulled by music , Wine and
words. The trick is to let yourself be carried away. The start of the event is scheduled for Thursday 28 at 7.30 p.m. in the little square of Carani, (Casanova of Carinola)
but a little taste of music it will come in the late afternoon in all the major
squares of all Carinola, where Zastava Orkestar, a band of children of Grosseto
that derive from music Balkan inspiration, will get off with enthusiasm and
magic, as if a film of Federico
FELLINI, the very famous film’s director. Let yoursel be lead through the alleys and near the
gates, but from what or from whom? To start off with “Peppino fire eater”, juggler and magician, but only after you
have "left" passed by Marco Luciano,
a young actor from Naples, already presented last year with "the Scurtecata" and this year he
will speak of his "theater pieces" between legends and contemporary
monologues. from Rome comes Teatraltro of Eduardo Ricciardelli, who will present a monologue
entitled "Ostiense… Africa", contemporary mould, in a playful way trying to make a parallel
between two places: the ghetto of Pyramids e the very old African continent. Continue your walk and keep your eyes open to not miss the exhibitions of
painting and art photography . . .and then there it will be: The Ma Asase theatre, a project linked to the centre
of unaccompanied minors seeking asylum in Terra
di Lavoro, land of welcome. A spectacular performance of three children of
Afghan origin and one of Berim directed by a young Louis Morra, who simply tells
their story with body language. In conclusion there is Grosseto, Naples, Mondragone, Rome, Asia Minor, Africa and of course Carinola, but I cannot
reveal to you Carinola's secrets. . .
